Southern California meets Italy at the Giro di San Diego Gran Fondo, a celebration of cycling, food, and San Diego’s North Coast. Held in beautiful Solana Beach, CA, our two-day festival features five mass-start, timed cycling events for road and mountain bikers, the Bike & Fitness Expo, and the Super Tasty 5K - Taste of Solana Beach Restaurant Walk. 2014 is the third year of this new, but popular, event.

PRO-Ride™: A Professional Invitational Event

This ride is held as a Pro-Invitational event in which all professional riders are welcome VIP’s to represent their sponsors, enjoy a great training ride or set some new KOM records.

Supporting Wounded Warriors

Giro di San Diego is proud to partner with USO San Diego to support the Wounded Warrior Regiment Recumbent Cycling Team. A portion of your registration directly supports the team's training for the 2014 Marine Corps Trials at Camp Pendleton. Check out a great video of this event here.

June 13, 2014: For the third consecutive year, the beneficiary of the 2014 Giro di San Diego Gran Fondo is USO San Diego and the Wounded Warrior Regiment. Proceeds from the weekend will directly support the US Marine Corps Recumbent Bicycle Team.

July 16, 2014: Join us for a no-drop ride and clinic on Saturday, July 19 at 8:30am at the Trek Bicycle Superstore in Solana Beach. We've partnered with Catalyst Physical Therapy & Wellness to provide a FREE, seven-week training series to prepare any rider for the Giro di San Diego. More information here.
