Race Details

Breakfast:  No one rides hungry! Join us for Breakfast at the Expo, 6:30 - 7:15 am. We will be serving coffee, orange juice, bananas and pastries.

Rest Stops: Fully stocked and staffed rest stops at strategic locations along all courses. Zym Hydration will be on course to keep you going, and Many stops will have a limited supply of ProGel (please only take one person so that other riders behind you can have some too)

Post Ride Feast: Included Lunch after the ride. Beer and other beverages are available. Yes you may eat in the Beer Garden! If you have requested or need a special meal (vegetarian, gluten free, etc.), please ask the servers to get that for you. It will not be placed out with the main food so we can ensure everyone gets what they need. You must ask for it.

Post Ride Massage - When you come in and park your bike at the valet look for the massage tents to get your name on the list for a free message - The Therapists do love tips if you can.

Participation:  Open to all riders 15 years of age and up. Each rider must be in sound health for the event chosen. Riders under 18 must have the consent of a parent or guardian.

Age Categories:  Male and female 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 ,70-74, 75+

Pro-Ride Invitational: Open to all licensed professionals and former professional riders free of charge. Please contact the event organizers for Pro-Ride entry.

Maximum Time: 11 hours / All courses close at 6:00 pm. Food Service Closes at 5 PM.

Timed Climbs:  The south grade of Palomar Mountain will serve as the

KOM/QOM - For details about this year’s prize purse for the KOM/QOM winners, please click here.

KOM/QOM first place climb winners in both climbs for each age category will receive a medal and certificate with information on how to order their polka dot jersey (for purchase). Please see rules here.

MERCHANDISE/ PACKET PICKUP:

Come pick up your rider number and merchandise on FRIDAY.

You will need to pick up an event packet containing your 2 rider number bibs with timing chips, and other essentials before the ride begins. Packet pickup is offered Friday from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Ryan Park and on Saturday morning at the starting line only beginning at 5:30 am.

Bag Drop

Location: Near registration ride morning, table marked "Bag Drop"

If you would like us to hold on to some clothes and shoes for after your ride so you can enjoy lunch/beer garden etc., bring your bag to the table and we will label it with your bib number. If you don't have a backpack we can provide a small plastic bag for your items.

Bag drop items may be retrieved in the beer garden after your ride. If you are under 21 please ask the beer garden security guard to retrieve your bag. You must have your bib number to get your bag.

Please do not leave any medicines you would need on the ride such as an inhaler (carry these types of items with you).

Remember to bring donation money for the Life Sports Foundation at the Beer Garden.

We will look after your bike at the valet area next to the finish line.

Please do not leave valuables, we are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Piccolo Fondo Riders - Please note you will be turning LEFT on Valley Center Road.

Granfondo Routes - There are 2 Granfondo Routes, both routes go up south Grade Road to the Mother's Kitchen Rest Stop on Palomar. The 56 mile Granfondo riders will return back down South Grade Road.

The 95 Mile Granfondo will descend East Grade Road.
